1998

A Legacy Begins

AFCO was founded by M. Farid Khan (Late), laying the groundwork for ethical legal and tax consultancy. The name "Asif Farid" combines his name with that of his elder son, symbolizing legacy and vision.

2002

Strengthening the Foundation

Asif Fareed joined the firm, bringing strong multi-disciplinary qualifications and practical expertise. His addition fortified the firm’s professional foundation and future leadership.

2004

Strategic Restructuring

AFCO was restructured as an Association of Persons (AOP) with three key partners. This marked the firm’s first formal transformation and strategic expansion.

2013

New Headquarters

AFCO relocated to a prominent office in G-8 Markaz, Islamabad. The move enhanced visibility and solidified the firm’s growing national presence.

2019

Expanding Expertise

The firm launched training services in taxation, bookkeeping, and e-filing across Pakistan. AFCO empowered thousands of professionals and SMEs with compliance knowledge.

2020

LLP Transformation

AFCO was registered as a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) with SECP. New partners were formally added, marking a milestone in structure and governance.

Asif Fareed is an Adv High Court, Ex -Secretary RITBA, and registered ITP with qualifications in CMA (Finalist), CA (Articles), MBA (Finance), and LLB. He specializes in tax planning, returns, compliance, and litigation before IRO, CIR, ATIR, and High Court. He also serves as a master corporate trainer in income, sales, and withholding taxes, and is a SECP-registered intermediary.
